Pricing
The $50 deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel more than 7 days before pickup, we'll refund any balance you've paid beyond the deposit. Within 7 days, the balance is also non-refundable since baking is already underway. Please reach out as early as you can if plans change.
Storage: Macarons are best within 5 days. Refrigerate in the box; bring to room temperature before serving for best flavor.
Pickup location: Address shared after deposit and design confirmation. Fort Greene, Brooklyn.

Welcome to Swu Bakes
Hi, I'm Sandy Wu, but you can call me Swu. By day, I'm a Designer. By night, I'm turning one of the hardest desserts to bake into something cute, personal, and a little extra.
Where cute meets custom and every macaron tells a little story. Asian-inspired flavors, character designs, and "not-too-sweet" treats made for weddings, showers, and the everyday moments worth celebrating.
My flavors are inspired by the desserts I grew up loving, especially black sesame, which taught me how beautiful "not-too-sweet" can be.
Small-batch, hand-piped, and made to be shared… or kept all to yourself.

One week ahead is the sweet spot for any order up to 100 macarons, custom characters included.
Need it sooner? Rush fees are $25 for 4–6 days out, $50 for 1–3 days out.

Yes! When filling out the custom order form, pick "Other (specify in notes)" from the flavor dropdown and tell us what you're craving. We'll confirm whether we can pull it off — some flavors are seasonal or harder to source — and let you know if there's any pricing impact.

Pickup only at Fort Greene, Brooklyn. You'll pick your date and time when you fill out the form — we'll confirm it works on our end and send you the exact spot.
Plans change? Message us at least 24 hours ahead and we'll do our best to reschedule. Last-minute no-shows can't be accommodated.

No shipping. Macarons are too delicate to survive a journey — especially the custom designs, which are basically tiny edible art. We'd rather hand them to you in person.
Local delivery within Fort Greene is sometimes possible for a small fee. Mention it in your order notes.

Fridge: airtight container, 5–7 days.
Freezer: airtight container, up to a month.
Before eating: let them warm up at room temp — 15 min from the fridge, 30 from the freezer.
Treat them gently — they're more delicate than they look.

We accept cards, PayPal, Venmo, and Apple Pay at checkout — whichever's easiest for you.
Each order is hand-piped and made fresh for you, so all sales are final — no returns, refunds, or exchanges. Please double-check your order before submitting, and reach out beforehand if you have any questions.

Every macaron contains almonds, eggs, and dairy. Cross-contact with gluten and other tree nuts is possible. Email us first if you have a severe allergy.
